I recently had the privilege of finally meeting (in person) the amazing Kip Kirby! As you can read about on my Pals page, I met Kip at a dog wedding in Nashville a few months ago, and we formed an alliance, so to speak. Kip and I are very confident in each other's work and don't hesitate to recommend each other to our own clients. Kip is a certified clicker trainer, accredited in teaching both dog obedience and agility, and she specializes in helping dogs and their people build stronger relationships and better behaviors. In 2002, she became only the second agility handler in Tennessee to earn the prestigious AKC MACH and USDAA ADCH titles with her Sheltie, Soundbite. Kip has since trained several agility champions, competed at national levels, produced an instructional training DVD, and written award-winning articles.
Even better? Kip is a down-to-earth person and just plain loves her dogs. Who couldn't, though? These three sweeties had my heart from the moment I pulled up to their home. Orbit is almost 14 and is partially blind/deaf. He knows hand signals, though, and is simply precious. He's the smallest of the group. The other two balls of energy are E-Mail (blue merle and only female) and D-Brit (largest of the three). It was truly my pleasure to create portraits of these three, Kip, and her husband, John. Please be sure to check out Kip's website and Facebook page (Kip Kirby Dog Trainer).
And, of course -- check out some of the portraits here!
